Smello's Candelilla Wax Pastilles

Sourced from the leaves of the candelilla shrub, Smello's Candelilla Wax Pastilles serves as a vegan alternative to beeswax. It easily blends with other waxes, making it suitable for a range of products from cosmetics to food applications.                    

Application:
Smello's Candelilla can serve as a substitute for beeswax or carnauba wax in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications. It easily blends with other waxes, such as paraffin and carnauba, enhancing their beneficial properties. Candelilla is soluble in alcohol and insoluble in water.

Usage: 
Melt by warming before use. Incorporate into the fat phase of formulas that require emulsification. Typical usage levels range from 2-30%. 

Melting Range: 68.5˚ to 72.5˚C
